We decided to look at what factors contribute to the LGBTQ+ community's higher rate of depression and suicide. Through a series of interviews with a seventeen-question has interview guide and snowball sampling, and we discovered critical characteristics that increased anxiety, depression, and suicide in the LGBTQ+ population, such as a sense of isolation and a lack of supportive resources.
